This is the result of a brilliant partnership between English wine importer David Rowledge, and his winemaking business partner Boris Kovac. Together they produce this wonderful blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault producing a deliciously silky, sensuous red, packed full of plums, black cherries and damsons with a touch of smoke, licorice and dark chocolate. In the US, where it is sold under a different label, it's been awarded 94 points by Robert Parker, the country's leading wine critic. It's a veritable feast on its own, but awesome with slow-cooked lamb. Think serious Côte du Rhône at an affordable price.
