Finding drinkable Pinot Noir under a tenner is nigh on impossible. Most tend to be ribena light imitations with a drop of alcohol added for fun. Not so this Chilean Pinot from the Central Valley. It has real character, from the tip of it's gloriously juicy, lush red cherry fruits to the ends of its peppery, licorice finish. All in all, delicious, and particularly suited to juicy pink lamb chops with a dollop of dauphinoise potatoes on the side.
