So often, Sauvignon Blanc from the New World can be either "in your face" full of flavours, or thin and weedy. This delicious example from Maray is neither. It has a beautifully fresh, flinty character, with a touch of citrus fruit blending with fresh gooseberry. It's never over the top, but elegant and highly enjoyable. Great with all kinds of salads or a light fish dish.
