So Toro is one of the most up and coming, downright sexy areas in Spain. It is producing some beautiful big bold wines, and this No 5 from the wonderful Bodegas Ramon Ramos is the perfect example. A wonderful concoction of rich strawberry fruit backed up with black cherry notes, with a lovely creamy edge of oak and a finish of pure spice. All in all complex, rich, intense and delicious with a lovely rack of perfectly pink roast lamb.
