So you're not sure about Spanish whites. If that's the case, this white will convince you that a) Verdejo is one of the white grape world's unsung heroes and b) that Spain can produce top class whites to rival the likes of Chablis or Sancerre, but for half the price. Made by two brothers, Hugo and Diego Ortega, it is a wonderfully light, crisp clean, mineral white with fresh lemon, gras and herbal fruit punch, finishing with a rapier sharp acidity, making it an absolute must with any sort of seafood. All in all one of the best quality whites we have on our list.
