There are not many reds that come out of Friuli bursting with ripe rich flavours but this is certainly one of them. Packed with rich cassis, cranberries and ripe cherry fruit flavours it has a lovely aroma and taste of coffee beans in the mid-palate with a creamy smooth mocha finish. Great on its own, but even better with some pink tender lamb steaks.
