Casa Cello Vinho Verde Branco Sanjoanne, 2017: One of our personal favourites and on our "most likely to be cracked open at the end of the day" list. Amazingly fresh, zippy, wonderfully aromatic Vinho Verde. It has a lovely citrus core, with touches of pear, both of which are finished off with a delicious sherbet-like zing.
Blockhead Chenin Blanc, Coastal Region, 2018: Packed with intense flavours of fresh Bramley apples and a touch of quince jelly this is unoaked and finishes with a delicious creaminess and lovely zingy bite.
Grange des Rocs Picpoul de Pinet, Languedoc, 2018: The name Pique-poul translates literally as "stings the lip", and is a reference to the grape's mouth-wateringly high acidity.
Ciello Rosso IGP Nero d`Avola, 2017: This fine, fresh, fruity, organic, naturally made red wine from Sicily. Medium-bodied and generously fruity with soft tannins that hang balances the acidity so well. Juicy plums and cherries with some Mediterranean dried herbs.
Cedre Camille Malbec, Cahors, 2018: Cahors is the bees knees for great big, earthy, chunky reds with an edge of sophistication to them. A wonderfully dark brooding compote of plum and cassis fruits, it has intense juiciness, a herbal edge, and a lovely earthy finish.
Gran Cerdo Tempranillo, Rioja, 2018: A anytime wine! The wine has real character, all the juicy elements of Tempranillo, the nose and flavours are an intoxicating combination of red and dark berries, faint lavender (or violets) and a slightly earthy edge.
